Pharmacist

Scott Halcomb is a community pharmacist with more than 35 years of experience helping patients understand their medications and take charge of their health. He earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 1990 and has spent his career building trusted relationships with the people and families he serves. Since 2020, he has worked as a pharmacist at the Athens Neighborhood Health Center, where he is passionate about improving access to care and supporting healthier communities through compassionate, patient-focused service.

He believes in keeping healthcare personal, practical, and approachable, guided by the idea often attributed to Benjamin Franklin: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
