Pediatrician
Dr. Paola Polanco is a Pediatrician originally from the Dominican Republic, where she completed her undergraduate and medical school studies. She later completed her specialty training in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about serving the Athens-Clarke County community.
She previously worked in a community clinic, and one of her main priorities is continuing to help and advocate for the people in underserved areas to ensure access to high-quality healthcare for individuals, especially those with limited resources.
In addition to her professional background, she is also a mother of two. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, cooking, and swimming with her children.
