Outreach Director
Jennifer W. Richardson serves as the Safety and Risk Manager and Compliance Officer at Athens Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center in Athens, Georgia. In this role, she oversees risk management activities, ensures regulatory and policy compliance, and directs emergency preparedness efforts in accordance with HRSA, OSHA, and other federal and state guidelines. She investigates and reports clinical, operational, and business incidents, coordinates with insurance carriers, and serves as the primary liaison with external agencies on matters related to risk prevention and mitigation.
Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in healthcare administration, compliance, and quality improvement. She plays a key role in monitoring patient safety events, managing risk exposure, and ensuring compliance, investigating and reporting potential risks, and delivering ongoing staff training to support compliance and operational excellence.
In addition to her compliance and safety responsibilities, Jennifer coordinates all student internships and clinical rotations at ANHC, strengthening partnerships with local colleges and universities to support workforce development in the healthcare sector.
She holds a Master of Business Administration in Managerial Leadership from Piedmont College and a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics and Housing from the University of Georgia. Her background includes leadership roles in marketing and outreach, community coalition-building, and quality improvement initiatives.
Jennifer is actively involved in local and state-level boards and coalitions focused on public health, youth development, and healthcare access, reflecting her deepр commitment to community well-being and organizational accountability.
